Yoga for Beginners 4 Session Series

Sundays in May: 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, and 5/26, 5:30-6:45pm

To join the current April series, give us a call: 303-758-0780

This introductory 4-session Yoga Series is specifically designed for beginners. Students will receive an overview of the practice, specific foundational instructions, feedback, and opportunities for questions. This is an encouraging way to begin your yoga practice and open the door to a wide range of benefits.

In addition to the common physical benefits, including increased muscle strength, flexibility, improved balance, pain relief, increased energy, and better sleep, students often notice they feel more relaxed, content in life, have better focus, and experience a greater sense of overall wellbeing, following the yoga classes.  To learn more about the benefits of yoga check out some research studies here.

Meet the Teacher:

Ada Van Roekel began her yoga journey in 2010. She says, “The days I went to class were the best days. The sun would shine brighter, my body felt lighter, and my problems seemed more manageable. Yoga was the sacred space for me to exist as an imperfect person. As a student, I was always inspired watching my peers with injuries learn how to modify for their body needs: stiffness, sports injury, surgery, stroke, amputations. We never know what life will throw at us, but our yoga practice can support us through our different challenges. My teachers have been amazing guides, often the most helpful people I have met. I decided to begin my own yoga teacher training in 2022 to share Iyengar’s method with others so they too can experience the light. I hope to do yoga until I am age 95.”
