Lynn Hanger

Lynn Hanger was introduced to yoga and holistic education when she was completing her undergraduate studies at Metro State University in the Integrative Therapeutic Practice program. Her initial roots are in the Kripalu tradition while the majority of her practice and teaching have been in the Iyengar method since 2011. She has experience in teaching kids as young as two years old and partitioners as old as mid-eighties. Lynn’s passion is to help people use the body as a tangible means to work with thoughts and emotions. Lynn teaches how the practice of yoga can cultivate strength and flexibility in the body as well as building those qualities in the heart and mind. In addition to teaching the physical benefits of yoga, the “true gold” in her eyes is sharing the deeper philosophical and practical application of this practice into one’s daily life experience. Her main focus is to help people connect to themselves and learn how the practice and application of yoga can extend far greater than the flexibility of muscle groups and the attainment of a physical posture. She is currently completing her studies as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and life coach to expand the repertoire of holistic tools to serve the community and uplift individuals with the power of Yoga and Ayurveda.
